Sporting a brand new blog feed on the home page, now you can keep up-to-date with the latest blog posts featured on the original Beat Redundancy Blues WordPress Blog that I regularly blog on, instead of waiting for posts here. Just sign up to my blog there by email or bookmark the homepage here for latest posts.

You will also notice there are now ads on this site which I do receive some monetary compensation for and due to demand and ongoing costs of this site, there is now a fee if you would like to add a link, be a featured blog post or on the font page of this site.

Gender pay gap

There was a study and poll conducted towards the end of last year – (Before the Living Wage) that revealed there is still a pay gap between genders. It will be interesting to find out if this is still the case now the living wage has come into effect. If you find any interesting articles on this currently, please let me know in the comments.

The study includes comments and theories from industry leaders on why this £2k avg gender pay gap at graduate level exists, while the poll shows that men feel more encouraged in IT & Technology fields than women, with subject interest levels dropping more with women over-time. Take a look……
